I’ve played with many bands including Missing Cat and Hot Tin Roof, gaining touring experience in the UK and abroad. I am based in Edinburgh where I’ve taught for over twenty five year and I am keen to share my musical and guitar playing knowledge with you.

I teach Plectrum technique as well as fingerstyle and slide guitar. Over the years I have helped hundreds of students achieve their goals on the guitar, from learning how to play their favourite songs to composing their own material and becoming confident in improvisation. I have also helped many students pass their school exams and college courses.

My teaching style is always relaxed and fun and tailored to the individual students goals.
